Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use electronicssimplified.in ("Electronics Simplified", "we", "us"), run by Rolan Gaspar Pereira, Goa, India. By using the site or buying a course, you agree to them.

Who can use the site

  • Anyone can read the free lessons.
  • Accounts for learners under 18 must be created by a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on the child's behalf.
  • Adults (18+) can create an account for themselves.

Free and paid courses

  • Some courses are free from start to finish. In the other courses, the first lessons are free and the rest are unlocked by buying that course.
  • Prices are shown on the Pricing page (for example ₹399 in India or US$5 elsewhere) and include any taxes we're required to charge, unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
  • A course is a one-time purchase: it stays unlocked on your account for as long as the site offers it. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
  • If we retire a course you have bought, we'll keep it available to you or offer a refund or a comparable course.

Using the lessons

  • Lessons, code, pictures, animations and videos are © Electronics Simplified. Your purchase is a personal licence for the account holder (and, for a family account, the child it was created for) to learn from them.
  • You may use the code in your own projects, including school projects.
  • You may not copy, resell, republish, share your account or share screenshots or recordings of paid lessons. Paid lessons show the account's email as a watermark.
  • We may suspend an account that is shared or used to copy content.

Safety

Electronics projects involve tools, batteries and mains electricity. Children should work with an adult. Follow each lesson's safety notes. Never work on mains (230 V) circuits without a qualified adult. We aren't liable for damage or injury from building projects.

Our liability

We work hard to keep lessons correct, but they are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned.

Changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Goa have jurisdiction.
